Data in the Desktop or Page
In order to make data usable, it usually needs to be imported into your desktop or davinci page. In addition, you may
want to transform the data to something more usable than what the data is in its raw format.

Hosting Data
Hosting data refers to users of the system making their data available to users of the platform
who dont have access to the data from their local hard drive,
either by hosting it on the davinci platform
or by hosting on one their own servers.
- Hosted
- data that you own that is hosted on the davinci platform. Requires no servers, hardware, or administrators.
- Hosting
data that you own that you host on your own servers and make securely available to selected users
on the davinci platform.
