Overview
Human resources department is responsible for managing the human capital of a firm. This
typically goes beyond the recruitment and hiring process, to managing processes desgined to keep the
company's workforce
skilled,
engaged and aligned.
From an analytics perspective, human resources can be an invaluable tool in
understanding and measuring a
firms costs (sa salaries represent a large portion of the firms expenses).
In addition,
there are processes that human resources can implement that can help them
understand what is happening within the firm in order to properly motivate the firms employees.
