Overview

The data toolbox provides methods for adding data to your page.

Data Boommarks

The data bookmarks toolbox lets you add data from a pre-defined data bookmark to your page. Bookmarks to web-hosted data sets can be created and saved using the data app.

When the data bookmarks toolbox is opened, all of your data bookmarks are displayed. To add the data referenced by a bookmark, simply click the bookmark. This will cause your page to retrieve the data and add it to your page.

Page Data

Page data shows the datasets that are currently defined in the current page. When opened, it lists all the loaded datasets. Underneath the dataset name, there are series of links which allow you edit or otherwise manipulate the data.

• x - remove from the page
• copy - create a copy of the dataset in your clipboard
• xform - transform the data
• rename
• edit
• xpt - export the data as a file

Adding New Data

• Upload Data - lets your select a file on your computer which contains a dataset, which will then be loaded into the page.
• Data from Url - lets you specify a URL where the data is hosted and retrieves the data, which is then placed into the page.

Data Dependencies

The data dependencies toolbox will open a dialog window that will display the data dependencies in the page.
