Model Documents

Model documents are documents that are provided with the implementation of a model in order to explain its developement, its intended use and its limitations. Most financial institutions that are regulated are required to have appropriate documentation of any model that it uses.

For smaller firms, documents are not always required, but can be useful in order to make the firm's ongoing operations easier to maintain and evolve.
