Popping

Overview

Because the script editor is a useful tool for running transformations on data in order to view the effects, it is often helpful to be able to run a script and then to view a chart of the resulting data. In order to accomplish this, you can configure the layout of the script window. For instance, you can pop the window out into a floating window so that you can run a charting app while being able to simultaneously edit and run the script. In addition, you can dock the script window to the bottom of the screen.

Once you have popped the window, you can place it back by clicking the close button. When the editor is docked, you can also return it to the script app by clicking the close link.

In addition to popping the window, you can move it to the lower section of your workspace by clicking the bottom button. When you wish to return the window back to the javascript app pane, click the close button.
