Importing into Visual Studio
Overview
Once you copy a script or set of scripts from either a Visual Studio instance, or from your davinci
web desktop or davinci page, you can import those scripts and the associated components into
Visual Studio
Options
- Import
- import will create and save files for each script in your clipboard into your currently open workspace, as well as create and save
HTML files for any HTML in your clipboard. All other components will be bundled into a local davinci page file.
If the file name conflicts with a file already in your workspace, it will be renamed by appending an appropriate number to
the name.
- Import and Run
- import and run will import all the scripts and components into your Visual Studio workspace, and
it will run all scripts. This means that any data geenrated by any of the scripts will be generated and
put to the workspace. If your
settings
are configured to propagate changes to data, then any dynamically bound components will function and push
their changes.
- Import to Folder
- will import the files as above, but lets you choose a folder to save the files to.
