Editing an Toolbox

When you post an toolbox to the library, you can select whether the post represents a final submission that cannot be further edited, and if you allow it to be edited, who can edit the app. The Locked drop down box lets you select which option applies.

• private - the toolbox is editable by you alone
• public - anyone can edit the toolbox
• locked - the toolbox is locked and can no longer be edited

Locking an toolbox is useful because it indicates to users of the toolbox that the toolbox will not change and they can depend on the stability of the toolbox.

If the toolbox is editable, you will see an edit link underneath the toolbox link in the library. Clicking on the edit link will open the toolbox in the code editor, from which you can make changes and submit.
