Poker
Overview
Poker is one the most popular card games. It is most often played by a set of players who make successful bets on the
outcome of the play. This means that it often is thought of in terms of
game theory
and
strategy.
Setup
The basic setup of a poker game is similar across different games. There is a deck of cards (typically 52 cards), divided by type and
suit. The dealer deals out the cards to the players who then engage in rounds of betting. The rules of each game typically differ
in how many cards are dealt and when they are dealt, and if a player is able to discard cards for new cards. At the end of a hand,
the cards of each player who has not dropped out of play are compared, and a winning hand is determined according to the
rules of
hand order.

Simulations
Simulations
One way to assess the strength of a dealt hand is to randomly simulate the hands of the other players and asses the portion of the
simulated games the hand in question wins.
