Disease Prediction
Overview
Prediction of disease refers to the process of examing a set of patient characteristics and circumstances and predicting
the probability of the onset of a given disease. Additionally, it is desirable to be able to calculate how the
probability will change given that the set of factors is modulated. That is, if the patient is able to change their
situation, how will it affect the probability that they will become diseased.
