Subspaces of Vector Spaces
Overview
A subspace of a vector space is a subset of the vector space such that is closed. That is
for any set of vectors {% v_1,v_2,...,v_n %} in the subspace, the following vector is
also a element of the subspace
{% \vec{v} = a_1v_1 + a_2 v_2 +... + a_n v_n %}
for any set of coefficients {% a_1,a_2, ..., a_n %}
