Page and Desktop Security

Overview

Whenever you create a page or desktop, you need to save it somewhere in order to load it in your browser again. There are two locations where you save your pages or desktops.

  • Server : when you save your pages to the server, your page is first encrykpted and then saved to your account on in our secure database. Pages are saved with a set of permissions that dictates who can view that page.
  • Local : when a blog is saved to your hard drive, it exists only as a file on your hard drive. In this case, security is dictated by the operating system on your machine. Other users cannot view the file unless they can log onto your machine and have rights to view the file.

The file that you saved is not saved to the davinci platform (unless you save it separately to the server as above).
