Overview
Whenever one is doing analytics or data reporting, the issue of getting and transforming data is
a central concern. There are several ways to load data into the davinci platform.
The
data center
contains data feeds to various sources of data. Some may require a license.

Data in a Workspace or Blog
In order to make data usable, it usually needs to be imported into your workspace or a blog. In addition, you may
want to transform the data to something more usable than what the data is in its raw format.
- Adding Data to your workspace or blog
- Transformations :
after data has been loaded into the davinci environment, transformations can be applied to the data in order to
produce the desired results.
- Editing Data
Hosting Data
Hosting data refers to users of the system making their data available on a
web server, either by hosting it on the davinci platform
or by hosting on their own servers.
- Hosted
- data that you own that is hosted on the davinci platform. Requires no servers, hardware, or administrators.
- Hosting
data that you own that you host on your own servers and make securely available to selected users
on the davinci platform.
