Funnels


Funnels are a way for salespeople to visualize where their leads are in the customer jouney and close they are to buying. For example a sample funnel may look like

  • Lead
  • Qualified
  • Demonstration
  • Negotiation
  • Closed

The sales funnel helps the salesperson to understand how to interact with a potential client and what the next steps may look like. Generally, it is structured as a linear progression. This means that it does not necessarily map to the customer journer, although it makes a certain degree of sense for the salesperson to understand the customer journey and how it relates to the sales funeel.
