Overview
A marketng campaign is a set of activities designed to promote a company or product. Campaigns last for a finite amount of time,
and are centered around a particular set of goals. A campaign can include
- A new tv advertising campaign
- A new product promotion which may include advertising and price discounts
Measuring Campaign Effectiveness
Measuring campaign effectiveness
is similar to
measuring
customer acquisition costs.
That is, it may be difficult to determine whether a new customer or the sale of a product was a direct result
of the campaign, or if it would have happened anyway.
