The app library is a repository of davinci apps submitted by members of the davinci community. app design

App Editor

Editing an App

When you post an app to the library, you can select whether the post represents a final submission that cannot be further edited, and if you allow it to be edited, who can edit the app. The Locked drop down box lets you select which option applies.

• private - the app is editable by you alone
• public - anyone can edit the app
• locked - the app is locked and can no longer be edited

Locking an app is useful because it indicates to users of the app that the app will not change and they can depend on the stability of the app.

If the app is editable, you will see an edit link underneath the app link in the library. Clicking on the edit link will open the app in the code editor, from which you can make changes and submit.
